Learn-to-Bellydance Party

Make your next event unique, memorable, and fun! Perfect idea for Bridal Showers, Bachelorette Parties, Baby Showers, Girls’ Nights, Birthdays, or any other special occasion for you and your friends.

For me one of the greatest joys of dance is sharing it with others. These parties give me a chance to take bellydance off the stage and back to its origins – a room full of women celebrating life and having fun.

Each party starts with a basic 1-hour lesson. I provide hip scarves for borrowing and music. The lesson will include a small warm-up, basic bellydance techniques, plus a combo or two depending on how many people are at your party. We can also end with everyone taking a turn dancing for the guest of honor. Lessons can be customized if you have a particular style/music/theme you want to work with (such as learning how to dance with candles, drum solo, floor work, etc.). You can then add on any extras, party favors, or themed gifts for your guest of honor.

PRICES FOR A 1-HOUR-LESSON PARTY

• Up to 10 people – $125
• Up to 15 people – $150
• Up to 20 people – $175
• Up to 25 people – $200
• Up to 30 people – $225

PERFORMANCE ADD-ON

• A 5-10 minute customized performance by Jalene – $75

(NOTE: If you want something other than the standard cabaret style of bellydance performance let me know and I can perform a belllydance fusion piece. Some examples: hip hop • industrial • metal-yes, we can bellydance to Slayer if you want! • vaudeville/circus • Balkan • psychedelic rock • surf • possibilites are endless. We can also include this music into your lesson.)

HOW TO BOOK YOUR PARTY

1. Estimate the number of people attending your party

2. Decide on your add-ons, party favors, gifts you would like for you party

3. Email Jalene with these details, as well as the DATE/TIME/LOCATION of your party

4. You will then receive an invoice and contract for the party. To reserve your date you must then pay a deposit, which is half of the total. Or you can pay the full amount if you prefer, then you don’t have to remember to bring your check book to the party. Payment can be made with check. Credit cards are also accepted through PayPal but you must pay a 2.9% PayPal service charge. The balance is due upon arrival at your party.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• If you cancel 4+ weeks before a party – $100 cancellation fee, rest of deposit returned
• If you cancel less than 4 weeks before a party – no refund of deposit
• If I have to cancel it will only be because of an emergency, I will do everything I can to find a substitute teacher, but if for some crazy reason I can not find someone you will receive a full refund
